Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1000 to 600 BCE. A gorgeous bronze bangle cast via the lost wax technique. The band is decorated with four ridges and notches at even intervals around the circumference. The opening is somewhat narrow and suggests that a woman or child was the intended wearer. The surface has been polished and cleaned and the interior is quite smooth from use. This bracelet is wearable so measure your wrist accordingly!
