Description:

Pre-Columbian, Western Mexico, Colima, Nayarit, or Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. An absolutely gorgeous set of wearable shaft tomb jewelry, in hues of eggshell, coral, salmon, and toffee, complete with a necklace, three rings, and two shark tooth pendants. The necklace features two miniscule shells on each end and has sixty-three rectangular slivers of brightly-colored clam shell, each with at least one circular grey stone between them. Each ring, comprised of a singular carved piece of white or off-white shell, is certainly wearable albeit quite fragile. The matching set of pendants, made of bilaterally-drilled shark teeth, can be worn either around the neck or can be refashioned into earrings. A wonderful set! Size of necklace: 22.75" L (57.8 cm). Rings are US sizes 4.25, 6.25, and 6.5.
