Northern Europe, Viking / Norse, ca. 8th to 10th century CE. A very substantive silver ring, the shank adorned with repeated triangles containing three raised pellets, a classic Viking design motif, and the table with a pair of intertwining spirals, another favored Viking motif, with termini wrapped around the shank.
