Description:

Pre-Columbian, north coast of Peru, Vicus, ca. 300 to 500 CE. Globular bodied vessel in deep brick red, adorned with twin erect phalluses, bridge spout between. Each phallus is molded with great accuracy save the two very small testicles at the base of each. One is drilled with 8 small holes indicating it was probably once a whistling vessel - now no longer functioning. Size: 8.75" W x 7" H (22.2 cm x 17.8 cm)
