**Originally Listed At $300**

Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Michoacan, Tzin Tzun Tan, Tarascan people, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE. A petite hand built pottery vessel with an interesting shape - a sharply carinated shoulder and a indented top with a short spout! The surface is adorned with abstract linear, spiral, and stippled motifs in white paint that contrasts beautifully with the red slip. Michoacan was a power in Mexico that rivaled Teotihuacan and people living in the Michoacan cities would have had a variety of pottery available to them both for domestic use in life and to be placed within their graves in death. Size: 5.25" Diameter x 2.75" H (13.3 cm x 7 cm)
