Northern Europe, Viking/Norse culture, Eastern (Finnish, Rus/Russia), ca. 8th to 9th centuries CE. A trio of beautiful bronze hairpins with tightly coiled bronze wire spiral designs terminating at one end in an elongated pyramidal point and at the other in a broader spiral. These look similar to some found in excavations of the multi-ethnic Scandinavian/Rus/Slav trading post of Staraya Ladoga, located near the modern day Russian town of Volkhov. Come with custom stand.
