Pre-Columbian, Guatemala, Maya Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A near-translucent, long, cylindrical bead in the form of a standing figure that is most likely female. She has her hands crossed over her stomach and nearly half of the piece is dominated by her face and tall, conical, tiered headdress. The bead is carved in three dimensions, with clear details on front and back. Drilled fully through the body for suspension. Comes with custom stand. Size: 0.55" W x 2.05" H (1.4 cm x 5.2 cm); height on stand: 2.15" (5.5 cm)
