All are signed, numbered, and titled in pencil below. Three fabulous prints - one linocut and two woodcuts - each one depicting Hollywood icons: Kirk and Spock of Star Trek fame; Sir Alfred Hitchcock, one of the most important figures in the history of film known as the "Master of Suspense"; and Darth Vader, the most intimidating antigonist of the original Star Wars trilogy! Victor McCay's prints inspired by movie and television icons (including images of Kirk & Spock, Darth Vader, and Hitchcock) were exhibited at Bare Hands Gallery in "Victor McCay: Hollywood Icons" in 2008. According to the press release, "There is a faint touch of the naive in his treatment of these famous performers. The effect is a trip down memory lane, a bit of a recognition game and, ultimately, a feeling of amusement."

Provenance: ex-estate of Roy Green, Birmingham, Alabama acquired before 2015 from major New York galleries
