Native American, Southwestern United States, Hopi, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A pair of hand-painted Sikyatki revival pottery vases, each a cylindrical shape with mesmerizing designs abstract feather or parrot patterns. These motifs are inspired by prehistoric pottery found at the archaeological site of Sikyatki, located on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. This revival style emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Size of largest: 4.2" Diameter x 10.25" H (10.7 cm x 26 cm)
