Description:

Northern Europe, Viking / Norse culture, ca. 800 to 1100 CE. Three beautiful brooches cast from bronze, each with a slender pin wrapped around their ovoid forms. One penannular brooch has a spiralized body and two flattened circular terminals, with one displaying an aqua-blue glass bead. The second penannular brooch exhibits a similar form as the first, though each terminal displays its own jet-black glass bead. The last brooch, an omega-style variant, has a circular body with a pair of projecting rods on the bottom. Each pin is able to move independently, making this a versatile and functional set of Viking-era accessories! Size of largest (omega): 3.875" H (9.8 cm).
