Ancient Near East, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BCE. A wonderful trio of lengthy bronze spear heads, each with a pierced attachment handle and long central mid-rib. Created using the lost wax bronze casting technique, each spearhead has a long, triangular blade and gently sloping shoulders; each blade also displays a sweeping range of blue, green, and brown patina. Size of largest: 14.125" L x 1.75" W (35.9 cm x 4.4 cm); 15.5" H (39.4 cm) on included custom stand.
