Southwest of Arabian Peninsula (modern Yemen), Sabean, ca. 1st century BCE to 1st centruy CE. A rare alabaster tablet incribed with a six line dedicatory inscription relating to a bronze statue for the temple at Awwam dedicated to the major Sabean god, Almaqah, probably at Marib. Includes custom stand. Size: tablet itself measures 2-1/4"W (5.7 cm)x 3 1/4"H (8.26 cm).
