Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Tlatilco, ca. 1250 to 800 BCE. A charming, hand-built pottery female dancer standing upon delineated legs and narrow, conical feet. She wears a wide skirt around her waist and puffs her chest out to emphasize her globular breasts. Her head tilts dramatically to the left and bears an expressive countenance while above her raised arms form a slender triangle with touching hands. Custom wooden display stand included. Size: 1.75" W x 4" H (4.4 cm x 10.2 cm); 5.1" H (13 cm) on included custom stand.

Provenance: private southern California, USA collection, acquired in the 1970s to mid-1980s
