Ancient Seas, Middle Miocene to end of Pliocene eras, ca. 28 to 1.5 million years ago. A beautiful selection of three megalodon shark teeth that have undergone the process of fossilization. The first tooth has a brown and pale orange root above a tan-hued lower enamel. The second tooth has a dark brown root above a beige enamel with several visible hairline fissures. The largest tooth has a black root above a gray and black lower enamel that exhibits a high luster which easily reflects light. Size of largest (black color): 2.8" W x 3" H (7.1 cm x 7.6 cm); 3.25" H (8.3 cm) on included custom stand.

  • Condition: One tooth has small loss to one root corner as shown; remaining two teeth are intact and very good. All teeth have light abrasions, small nicks to roots and enamel, and fading to coloration commensurate with fossilization, otherwise great with wonderful patina throughout.
