Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A gathering of 3 hand-built pottery vessels including 2 jars and a bottle. The first jar exhibits a spherical body with twisted handles and a pair of feline head nubs, and the second jar showcases red and black pigment across the beige-hued body. The largest vessel is a spherical bottle bearing a pair of handles, a cylindrical spout with a flared rim, vertical linear patterns on the body, and crosshatched panels around the neck. Size of largest (bottle): 4.2" W x 5.625" H (10.7 cm x 14.3 cm)
