Pre-Columbian, Ancient West Mexico, Chupicuaro, Jalisco, and Nayarit, ca. 500 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 3 hand-built and stone-burnished pottery vessels from ancient West Mexico. First is a conical Nayarit vessel with radiating stripes, and second is a Jalisco red-on-cream bowl with stippled motifs. The largest is a Chupicuaro brownware bowl with incised striations. Size of largest (Chupicuaro): 5.81" W x 2.7" H (14.8 cm x 6.9 cm)

Provenance: private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000
