North America, United States, ca. second half of the 20th century CE. A set of 3 pendants with vibrant, lustrous stones inside form-fitting settings. The first pendant bears two vermilion-hued agate stones within a silvered nickel-brass setting. The second pendant features a large onyx cabochon within a 94% silver setting. The largest pendant exhibits a circular peridot above and a square peridot below a sizable malachite cabochon, all set inside of an 89% silver setting. Each pendant is strung with a necklace strand that enables its wearability. Size of largest (malachite): 1.375" W x 2.375" H (3.5 cm x 6 cm); (necklace strand): 22" L (55.9 cm); quality of silver: 89% (malachite pendant) and 94% (onyx pendant)

Provenance: ex-private Davis collection, Houston, Texas, USA, acquired before 2013 from various auction houses in London and New York

  • Condition: Pendants cannot be accurately weighed without removing and potentially damaging the stones. All pendants were constructed in modern times and wearable as shown. Very light abrasions to some center stones, otherwise intact and excellent. Great stone colors.
