Description:

Native American, Southwestern and Northwestern United States, Pima, Yokut & Tlingit peoples, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A trio of charming baskets, hand-woven from natural fibers, that beautifully exemplify traditional Native American artistry. All three sit on a flat and stable base and present a rich caramel hue with geometric patterns of contrasting black, brown, and beige. The short one with a carinated body is likely Pima, the largest is probably Yokut, and the smallest is Tlingit. The hues are browns and beige, as Native American weavers appreciated the natural colors of plants. These are finely woven and present attractive profiles as well as motifs! Size of largest: 10.25" W x 7.875" H (26 cm x 20 cm)
