Theodore (Theo) Ballou White (American, 1903-1978), "Water Tank Hill, Boulder Dam." ca. 1935 CE. Lithograph, initialed TW in stone. Full sheet. Numbered 13/23 and titled in pencil. A wonderful sunlit landscape depicting the water tower at Boulder Dam amidst the hills with a row of homes below along a lovely road - all under a dramatic sky. Size: image measures 8.625" L x 11.625" W (21.9 cm x 29.5 cm); sheet measures 12.375" L x 19" W (31.4 cm x 48.3 cm)

Theo Ballou White was a Philadelphia architect as well as a printmaker (though born in Norfolk, Virginia) who created lithographs during the 1930s and 1940s using the old stone method. White was a prominent artist who was involved in the development of the new Philadelphia Museum of Art and the reputable Print Club. An outstanding architect, he was also inducted as a fellow in the American Institute of Architects in 1966.
