Roman Empire, ca. 1st century CE. Tall and gorgeous glass pitcher in light green glass. Sitting on short splayed foot with bulbous midsection thin neck and flared round rim, with lovely wide strap handle folded into a delicate glass ribbon. A vessel such as this could only have been owned by a very elite member of society. Size: 8.75" H (22.2 cm)
