Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. An elegant pottery amphora featuring a narrow base and smooth walls that elegantly rise to a broad, rounded shoulder and twin arching handles. The long slender neck gently expands and contracts before the flared rim, giving the vessel a unique yet graceful form. Size: 7.5" Diameter x 15.3" H (19 cm x 38.9 cm)
