Description:

East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. A gorgeous, large, pale blue glazed vessel in the classic Ming style. It features a tall, cylindrical body with gently sloping shoulders, a narrow, conical neck, and a flared mouth with a rolled rim. Pairs of lions, seated and facing each other, form handles applied to the sides of the neck, while applied swag-like forms decorate the upper shoulder between the handles. Size: 7.75" W x 23.9" H (19.7 cm x 60.7 cm)

This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full report will accompany purchase.
