**Originally Listed At $250**

Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Tairona, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. A beautiful necklace of a wearable form composed of dozens of petite spondylus shell beads in warm red-orange hues. Lengths of shell beads are interspersed between shorter sections of miniature cylindrical copper beads, and beneath a blue-and-white trade bead is a slender silver pendant with a spiraled lower terminal. Strung in modern times, this is a striking example of ancient art meets modern fashion! Size (necklace): 13.5" L (34.3 cm); (pendant): 0.7" W x 1" H (1.8 cm x 2.5 cm); quality of silver: 40%.
