North America, Canada, Alberta, Bearpaw formation, late Cretaceous, ca. 71 million years ago; South America, Uruguay or Bolivia, ca. millions of years old; North America, United States, ca. millions of years old. A gorgeous pendant formed from sterling silver that houses 4 colorful stone fragments. The largest 2 fragments are carved from highly iridescent ammolite - an organic gemstone cut from the fossilized shells of ammonites - that is only found in the Bearpaw Formation in Alberta, Canada. Between the ammolite are 2 petite faceted stones: first is a circular amethyst boasting hues of plum and wine, and the other is an ovoid peridot with hues of lemon and chartreuse. This pendant is made wearable with a modern necklace cord and is sure to accent any outfit!
