A toggle clasp allows the piece to be worn on one's wrist. Note the sparkling crystalline structures visible in the outermost regions of each eye! A truly "eye-catching" adornment sure to attract the gaze of many an admirer! Size (bracelet): 8" L (20.3 cm); (largest eye): 0.8" W x 1" H (2 cm x 2.5 cm); sterling silver quality: 92.5% or higher; weight: 40.1 grams

The name of amethyst is Greek in origin and means "not drunken." Some scholars suggest that this was due to the belief that Amethyst had the power to stave off the effects of alcohol; however, most believe that the Greeks were probably referring to the near wine-like hue of some amethyst stones.
