A set of 2 religious carvings - a wooden head of a male saint with a beard, perhaps Saint Francis based on the tonsure hairstyle, as well as a figurine of Jesus during the crucifixion that is carved from bone, perhaps bovine. Size of largest (wooden head): 2.625" L x 2.1" W x 3.5" H (6.7 cm x 5.3 cm x 8.9 cm); 4.4" H (11.2 cm) on included custom stand.

  • Condition: Loss to arms of Jesus with light adhesive residue along verso. Santo head repaired from 2 pieces with a large transverse fissure as well as chipping to pigment and wood. Nice preservation to facial features and glass eyes.
