Ancient Greece, Cyprus, ca. 750 BCE. A petite bichrome bowl on a very narrow foot with twin handles, most impressive for its "bulls eye" decorative motif comprised of concentric circles painted in chocolate brown on cream hues on the tondo and underside - the "bulls eye" on the underside culminating in a central pinwheel-like motif. Size: 4.5" W x 1.25" H (11.4 cm x 3.2 cm)
Provenance: Ex - Prominent LA County collector who acquired these prior to 2000
