Greek Colonies, Campania, Neapolis, ca. 450 to 320 BCE. A Neapolis AR Didrachm silver coin set in a modern silver and electrum pendant setting as a wearable necklace - a timeless "gemme numari." The obverse of the coin is a Nymph's head in profile facing right, reverse is a man-headed bull walking left and winged Victory above and Greek inscription. The pendant is a 20th century creation with a unique 93% to 96% silver and electrum gilding. Size of pendant: 1.78" L x 1.4" W (4.5 cm x 3.6 cm); coin: 0.75" Diameter (1.9 cm); cord: 21" L (53.3 cm); silver quality: 93% to 97%; electrum quality: 33% gold, 45.5% silver; weight: 45.7 grams.

Provenance: ex-private Las Vegas, Nevada, USA collection, acquired prior to the 1990s
