Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo, ca. late 20th century CE. A sterling silver squash blossom pendant inlaid with creamy orange coral or shell cabochons, the bail and underside of the petals are marked "DC" and "STERLING." The pendant is strung on a sterling silver beaded strand – likely added by the previous owner, the push clasp has a Mexican silver hallmark. This is a fine and wearable set, and the pendant can easily be restrung on another chain as one desires. Size of pendant: 3" L x 1.25" W (7.6 cm x 3.2 cm); necklace: 26" L (66 cm); silver quality: 92% to 95%; total combined weight: 84 grams
