This limited edition stone lithograph is a stunning portrait of an indigenous woman named Juliana by American artist Timothy Stortz. Stortz is best known for sensitive portraits like this example. Notice the veristic manner in which he delineated each and every wrinkle to indicate the sitter's age and wisdom. Juliana's beauty runs deep, and rather than hide her age, Stortz celebrates it with reverance and respect. A very fine Timothy Stortz stone lithograph set in a custom frame behind glass. On the verso is the Master Editions Ltd print documentation for this limited edition stone lithograph that is signed by both artist and printer. Artwork is set in a custom frame behind glass and has not been examined outside the frame. Subtle impressions of tape on verso of lithograph that was used to attach it to the matte. Otherwise the lithograph appears to be in very nice condition. Frame is also in good condition save a few minor scuffs. Artwork is fitted with a suspension wire and ready to display.
