Rome, Imperial, ca. late 2nd century CE. Signed "CPOMPO." An impressive mold-made pottery oil lamp presenting a discoid body, a recessed discus, a petite pour hole, a loop handle, and a wick spout, all sitting upon a flat, annular base. The central tondo features the relief image of a pole vaulter leaping over a bull.
