Description:

Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Sican/Lambayeque culture, ca. 750 to 1370 CE. A finely-preserved arm band, with a curved profile and lightly-rounded edges, formed from a hammered sheet of copper containing roughly 31% silver. The bottom is slightly wider than the top to allow both the wrist and forearm to rest comfortably within. Size: 2.875" W x 5.375" H (7.3 cm x 13.7 cm); quality of silver in copper-silver alloy: 31%.
