Native American, Southwestern United States, Santo Domingo Pueblo, ca. late 20th century CE. A fetish necklace made from heishi shell beads and stone fetish animal charms that all somewhat resemble bears, carved from light green ricolite (serpentine) and red jasper. The beads are strung on 2 cotton thread strands, the ends are wrapped in white floss. Wearable and overall great vintage condition. Size of longer strand doubled: 31" L (78.7 cm)
