Roman, Imperial Period, possibly Roman Egypt, ca. 2nd century CE. A round-bodied ceramic oil lamp with a rounded spout and loop handle. The discus has an image of a woman's bust. She wears a uraeus and has tall horns incorporated into her headdress, suggesting that this is a representation of the goddess Isis, whose worship spread from Egypt to the Roman world. Size: 4.05" L x 2.9" W x 1.7" H (10.3 cm x 7.4 cm x 4.3 cm)
