A red terracotta mold-made oil lamp depicting a fascinating scene on the tondo featuring a goddess standing beside an amphora and holding a staff or branch in her outstretched left hand - perhaps Athena, goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts, holding her golden staff; perhaps Pomona the goddess of fruit, especially apples and pears, carrying an apple branch, or Nemesis, goddess of retribution for evil deeds and undeserved fortune, whose attribute was also an apple branch.
