Roman, Imperial Period, Syria, Antioch, Nero, ca. 54 to 68 CE. Obverse: IM NER CLAV - CAESAR, laureate head right, in front, lituus, dotted border. Reverse: SC in laurel wreath, dotted border. It was during Nero's reign that "The Great Fire of Rome" erupted on the night of July 18th and continued to the into 19th in 64 CE. SNG Cop 158, BMC 177-8, Butcher 125.
