An elegant cameo finely carved from a white stone (possibly agate or marble) and framed by a 86% gold (equivalent to 20K+) setting with a rope pattern. The cameo depicts the bust of a female beauty wearing a cloak or himation around her shoulders, her head in profile, her sensitively delineated visage with delicate facial features, and hair pulled back to a chignon. Simply stunning! Gold quality: 86%, equivalent to 20K+. Total weight: 1 gram. Size: .625" L x .3" W (1.6 cm x 0.8 cm)
