Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Attractive and somewhat rare solid silver cast statue of a nude male - perhaps an athlete or a god. Made of 98% silver, it depicts a youth standing with his weight on his left leg, right leg slightly bent, nude save for section of cloak draped over his left arm and shoulder; on his head he wears a smooth rounded cap. A nicely detailed example! Size: 1.75" H (4.4 cm); 1.8758" H (4.8 cm) on included custom stand.
