Description:

Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. This mold-made terracotta lamp features a raised ring base with an incised swastika design, sloping bottom sides, ovolo-variant shoulders with a repeating flower petal motif, a large ringed fill hole, and a short wick spout. Two small incised lines detail the underside of the wick spout, and an incised linear pattern separates the fill hole from the wick spout. Size: 3.25" L x 2.5" W x 1" H (8.3 cm x 6.4 cm x 2.5 cm)
