Description:

Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A fascinating pair of utilitarian examples from the Roman Empire: a pottery oil lamp and a copper hair or cloak pin. Alternatively, the pin displays a slender body that widens to an ovoid eye hole and ends in an orb-shaped finial. Size of larger (oil lamp): 4" L x 3" W x 1.5" H (10.2 cm x 7.6 cm x 3.8 cm)
