Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A fine gathering of three iron weapons. First is a thick, diamond-shaped spearhead with rings hanging from integral loops that flank the socketing shaft. Second is a throwing arrow known as a plumbata with a hefty lead handle. The largest is a lengthy spearhead with serrated edges, a protruding midrib, and a gently tapered socketing shaft. Size: 6.5" L x 0.8" W (16.5 cm x 2 cm)
