Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. late 3rd to 4th century CE. A free-blown unguentarium formed from near-opaque, yellow-green glass with a discoid foot and a smooth pontil scar, a teardrop-shaped body with a tubular neck, a flared and in-folded rim, and a pair of applied trail handles joining rim to neck. Thick, fiery areas of silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence imbue the vessel with a burst of color which nicely complements the vibrant spring hues. Size: 2.3" W x 4.7" H (5.8 cm x 11.9 cm).
