Roman, Holy Land, early Imperial Period, ca. 1st century CE. A fine free-blown glass bracelet of a thick composition with a simple circular form. The color of the bracelet, though seemingly black on the surface, is actually an incredibly-deep shade of amber which is only visible when illuminated with a bright light. Size (bracelet): 3.1" in diameter (7.9 cm); size (wrist opening): 2.125" in diameter (5.4 cm).
