Description:

Roman Empire, ca. 1st century BCE to 2nd century CE. A fine pair of hollow cast high (22+) karat gold hoop earrings, each nearly circular with smooth contours and a looped catch. Interestingly, the Romans invented the “hoop earring” which developed around 300 BCE. Yes even in antiquity, humans expressed their love, appreciation, and admiration with a shimmering bauble or two. So why not continue to embrace this longstanding tradition? Weight: 2 grams Size: both approximately .625" L x .5" W (1.6 cm x 1.3 cm)
