Description:

**First Time At Auction**

Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. This lovely free-blown green translucent glass vessel features a concaved base with a smooth pontil, a bell-shaped body with a pinched neck base, a very narrow cylindrical neck, and a rolled and collared rim. The body displays a spiralized form throughout the entire surface and can be definitively observed based on the darker detailing. Fiery rainbow iridescence is shown across all surfaces in hues of violet, clover, sapphire, and gold. An attractive example would be an understatement! Size: 2" W x 5" H (5.1 cm x 12.7 cm).
