Description:

Roman, late Republic to early Imperial Period, ca. 1st century BCE to 1st century CE. A fine wheel-thrown pottery bowl with a small circular foot, wide walls, a shallow basin, a lightly-indented shoulder, and a flared rim. The bowl is covered in reflective layers of orange-red glaze, though age and environmental conditions have darkened the color of some areas. Size: 5.9" W x 2.25" H (15 cm x 5.7 cm).
