Roman, early Imperial Period, ca. 1st century CE. A lovely free-blown unguentarium formed from semi-translucent, cobalt-blue glass with a round but stable base, a teardrop-form body with a lightly indented neck line, a tubular neck, and a rolled rim. Scattered areas of faint silvery iridescence elegantly complement the vessel's deep aqua color. Lucite display stand for photography purposes only. Size: 1.25" W x 3" H (3.2 cm x 7.6 cm).
