Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. A beautiful free-blown glass sprinkler vessel presenting with aqua hues and rainbow iridescence. The vessel sits on a flat wide bottom and has a tear-drop shaped body with petite pinched knobs arranged in two rows around the exterior. The neck flares out to a wide mouth, and the interior of the neck has a constricted ring for pouring control that leads into the deep body cavity. This is a beautiful piece that showcases the Romans' artistry with glass. Size: 2.25" W x 3.625" H (5.7 cm x 9.2 cm)
