Description:

**Originally Listed At $200**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. A gorgeous free-blown double unguentarium, formed from an emerald-green glass, comprised of two tubes conjoined at the base, each with a tubular body and a flared rim. An applied trail handle conjoins the rim and body of one tube, though the second handle is sadly missing. Areas of faint rainbow-hued iridescence provide a lovely complementarity to the overall appearance of the vessel. Vessels like these are generally found in tombs and would have held scented oils, perfumes, or even two colors of kohl eye makeup. Size: 4.25" H (10.8 cm).
