Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. An elegant, free-blown amber glass cup with a translucent presentation. The vessel rests atop a ringed foot with a rough pontil scar and has gently-undulating walls, a deep interior cavity, and a rolled rim. The golden-brown coloration of the cup is nicely complemented by scattered areas of faint silvery iridescence, imbuing it with a regal appearance evocative of high-quality Roman artistry.
